RETRANSMISIÓN DE LOS "SCREAM AWARDS 2011" POR EL CANAL 'TNT' PARA TODO EL TERRITORIO ESPAÑOL

El canal de pago TNT será el encargado de retransmitir la sexta edición de los SCREAM AWARDS, la entraga de premios dedicada al terror, ciencia ficción y fantasía, en el ámbito cinematográfico y televisivo.

Originalmente, solo se entregaban dos tipos de galardones, los Scream Queen y Heroic Performance Awards (en la actualidad suspendidos), premios que se otorgaban a actores y actrices pertenecientes a los tres géneros reconocidos en este evento.

Actualmente, se han sumado otras categorías, entre las que se encuentran:

- The Ultimate Scream (Mejor película o serie del pasado año)
- Best Horror Movie
- Best Fantasy Movie
- Best Science Fiction Movie
- Best TV Show
- Best Sequel
- Best Remake
- Best SuperHero
- Best Comic Book Movie
- Most Memorable Mutilation
- Best Villian
- Breakout Performance
- The Scene of the Year Award
- Best Song
- Best Comic Writer
- Best F/X

Este encuentro, tendrá lugar el próximo 30 de octubre en TNT, ESPECIAL HALLOWEEN. La repetición tendrá lugar el 31 de octubre antes, durante o pasada la medianoche, dependiendo del uso horario del país.

Las películas con más nominaciones de este año son "Harry Potter y las Reliquias de la Muerte, parte 2", "X Men: Primera Generación" con catorce nominaciones cada una, seguidas por "Capitán América" y "Thor" con once nominaciones.

Uno de los premios más esperados, es el que se entrega cada año a la película más anticipada. Este año compiten por el puesto "The Dark Knight Rises", "The Avengers", "The Amazing Spiderman", "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" y "The Hunger Games".

En la categoría de series TV, las más nominadas son "Juego de Tronos" y "True Blood" con siete y "The Walking Dead" con seis.

Este año, los miembros del jurado, están compuestos por personalidades reconocidas en el género terror y  fantasía como Damon Lindelof, Eli Roth, George A Romero, John Carpenter, Rob Zombie, Robert Rodríguez, Roland Emmerich, Tim Burton y Wes Craven.
